DescriptionThe 8×42 Series 4 from Barr & Stroud feature rugged construction combined with bright optics and high resolution eyepieces to make astonishing images. Barr & Stroud Series 4 (8×42) binocular are waterproof to a depth 1.5m of water for three minutes, a lot of time to retrieve them if you have drop them in a river or lake. This requires a high degree of mechanical engineering excellence in the construction of the binocular which is evident as soon as you pick it up. This ability is further improved by the binoculars rubber armoured body which protects it from shocks.
