The item for sale is a pair of Ascot Made in England binoculars that due to their age and are being sold as seen so please study the photos as to satisfy yourself as to what you will be receiving as they form part of the description.
Cosmetically the binoculars are in good condition with some paint loss & wear,some red paint residue,dust/dirt in some of the hard to get to apertures,one of the front barrels has taken a knock,there is chip to the outer edge of the same glass(see last photo) and the other outer glass may also have a chip but is hard to see but does not affect the viewing – considering their age these are remarkably clean inside with a few dust particles seen inside.
The focusing etc are all smooth and working – no ocular adjustment on these.
No other details I can find stamped to these but are approx. 119mm long.
Will be posted using a cardboard box.
