Antique field glasses – small binoculars, opera or theatre glasses.
The French manufacturer’s name “Verres” and the magnification number “8” are stamped on the glasses.
The glasses probably date from around 1900.
The glasses have age related wear.
The flange on the left hand eyepiece is bent.
The leather covering on the left hand side of the glasses is scuffed with some loss.
