A pair of antique Ross Stereo Prism Binoculars, with 6x magnification. They are in their original red velvet lined leather case, marked – ROSS – MANUFACTURING OPTICIAN – CLAPHAM COMMON, LONDON S.W. They are marked – ROSS LONDON – No 68743 – STEREO PRISM BINOCULARS – POWER = 6. Their objective and ocular lenses measure 29 mm and 12 mm wide and are in good condition, with no scratches and are focusing properly with a calibrated horizon line. They date to about 1918 and are in good working condition but would benefit by being cleaned, as shown in photo’s. They are marked with their first owners name J.R. KENNEDY.
