Carl Zeiss Jena Telact 8X Binoculars in original leather case
Serial Number is 231750 which dates them to between 1907 and 1914
They are marked:
Carl Zeiss Jena – Telact 231750 – 8x and Agents: Ross Ltd, Opticians, 111 New Bond St, London
The brass parts of the binoculars have been polished, as can be seen in the photos
The optics are still good and the eyepieces adjust individually to focus
The original case has some wear and cracking of the leather – see photos
