Antique Binoculars – circa WW1 Made by Aitchison of London and sold by A Clarkson Co, High Holborn, London
Magnification: 10x – 55, 65 and 75
Dimensions: 12 cm (high) x 15 cm (across) x 5cm (width)
Sold in very used vintage condition – black paint worn from metal part – leather straps showing signs of wear commensurate with age (pre 1927) and use – dusty lenses etc. (see photos) The paint of the name has worn off but the indentation of ‘Aitchison’ and ‘London’ can be seen with a looper. Condition reflected in starting price. The case is also showing signs of wear but it is all there and the straps are in one piece.
The are aged circa WW1 but are no later than 1927 as pre the Dolland & Aitchison branding.
