THESE ARE OBVIOUSLY FAR FROM BRAND NEW & THEY HAVE POSSIBLY BEEN USED IN THE FIELD BY THE GERMAN FORCES DURING WORLD WAR ONE
OPTICS ARE CLEAR WHEN USING TO LOOK THROUGH BUT THERE IS A FUNGUS HAZE PATCH INTERNALLY IN THE LEFT HAND SIDE OPTICS
THERE IS ALSO SOMETHING WHICH APPEARS TO BE A SMALLISH PIECE OF CUT LEATHER OR PAPER INSIDE THE R/H SIDE OPTIC INTERNALLY
THESE COULD BE PROBABLY BE CLEANED EASILY IN THE RIGHT HANDS BUT I HAVE NO EXPERIENCE OR INTEREST IN GOING INSIDE OF OPTICAL EQUIPMENT
AS THEY ARE THEY ARE STILL FIT FOR PURPOSE & WHEN VIEWING THE OPTICS AR CLEAR BRIGHT & STILL VERY SHARP!
INDIVIDUAL FOCUSING & MOVEMENTS ARE MOVING FREELY & FOCUSING NICELY HOWEVER INDIVIDUAL EYEPIECE FOCUSING WOULD BENEFIT FROM A LUBRICATION
