No maker’s mark
American I think
The leather on one side has come away. Just needs glueing

The smaller pair is WW2 vintage
Schlesicky-Strohlein of Frankfurt, Germany
There is no record online of this company manufacturing anything except
opera glasses, yet these are plainly field binoculars
I have no doubt that during the war this company was turned over tothe
manufacture of field binoculars

The leather has completely perished away at the finger contact points on both sides
It has plainly been extensively used professionally
Unfortunately the rim of one of the eye-pieces also has damage
It came from a house clearance in Kent. The balance of probabilities is that it was a
