12-60 x 70 Zoom Binoculars with Tripod. Not fully functional. (Hospiscare )
I had high hopes for these unbranded zoom binoculars. They are in very good cosmetic condition and look almost unused.
At the minimum magnification (12x) they offer a clear bright well collimated image with just the odd faint mark near the edge of the field of view which is hardly noticeable.
However once you start to zoom in, the collimation (registration) progressively goes out of adjustment so you get two images which are not coincident.
So I would say that if you are happy to use them at 12x, the large objective lenses offer a greater than normal light collection which, together with the tripod, might make them OK for basic astronomy.
There is also a soft case not pictured.
