Carl Zeiss Jena “Jenoptem” 8 x 30w binoculars serial number 4558057 ( 1977 ). This is a pair of genuine East German Zeiss binoculars with the correct 7-digit serial number and clearly marked “DDR”. They are in mint condition, hardly ever having been used. Paint is unmarked and they are prefect optically, totally free from fungus and haze and nicely collimated. They focus very smoothly and produce a bright, pin-sharp image as can be expected from legendary Carl Zeiss optics. They come with their original solid-leather red velvet lined case, shoulder strap, black leather lanyard, instruction booklet, lifetime guarantee and original box. An exceptionally fine pair of classic binoculars ready to give many years of enjoyable use. The glasses will be carefully packed in a well-padded box for dispatch and sent fully tracked and insured.
