Welcome. For sale is a very nice Carl Zeiss Jena Dekar 10x Mag. Has its nice original case, which requires a little stitching on 1 corner of lid, otherwise good. Locking tab a little lose, due to stretching over time.
No Prism damage
No lens damage
Optics reasonably clean & usable.
Focusers work as intended, quite smooth.
Leather covering intact & good.
Paint loss to high spots.
Original Lanyard
I believe never opened since WW2, when japanese possibly serviced the glass for use in service.
All original.
A nice collectable, with unusual markings to case. Would any of our Japanese friends care to let me know the meaning of the characters/kanji. Thankyou.
