Zeiss7x50 blc smooth ocular binoculars with benutzer and original caseTheseblc 7×50 smooth ocular binoculars are in very good originalcondition. The benutzer is a very good reproduction but everythingelse is original. The black enamel paint is generally very goodalthough there is the typical in-service rubbing to the edges. Thereare some very minor dents to the objective lens rims. The texturedcovering on the barrels is missing in a few places but is generallyokay. The paint on the top plates along with the inscription are verygood. The white filled inscription is 7×50 2149735 blc. Both ocularsfocus smoothly. There is a very tiny chip out of one of the eye cups.Externally there are no scratches to the lenses. Internally, theright hand side is clear. There is some very faint fogging in theleft hand side when reverse viewed but this has very little undueaffect on normal viewing which is clear and collimated. There are no chips to the lenses or prisms. Thebinoculars have a very good reproduction benutzer, cord, and clamp.Theoriginal Zeiss case is also in very good original condition exceptthat the end of the sprung clasp is missing. The black leather has alovely used patina with minor wear marks but no serious scuffing. Allthe loops, hinge, studs, etc., are secure. The shoulder strap is alsoprobably original and has been secured at one end with tied cottonthread. It is in good condition and is very secure. The case isstamped Carl Zeiss Jena on the front under the lip of the lid. Theeagle stamping on the lid has been scratched off.
