WWII Japanese 7×50 Military Binoculars.
* Unidentified Makers Trademark, also stamped in Japanese on both Front Covers.*
The Paint on the front covers has been removed, this was how they came to me, I imagine this was done by a previous owner to reveal their Markings more clearly.
* Just to be clear, I am presuming these to be WWII Military based on their design and overall appearance, if you don’t agree with this then please bid accordingly, I’d rather not have the discussion “after the event” so to speak, many thanks.*
* Serial No 1186.*Of mainly Aluminium construction.
* No Rangefinder / Graticule present.*Both sides focus well independently and in combination, collimation is good.
The r/h Ocular slips in operation but will catch up and do the job.
Both sides with only *extremely minor* internal deposits and *literally only a few* very tiny specks of dust, all of which is visible *only* when viewed down through the Objectives.
* In use the view is clean and clear.*
No internal Fungus.
Externally with good patina of age and use, with no losses, major damage or structural issues throughout.
Rubber Eye-cups split in places, as shown.
No visible internal damage.
Lenses with only very minor signs of age and use, some cleaning marks, no bad scratches, no cracks or chips.
One Objective Lens has *very slight* audible movement when the Binoculars are shaken, otherwise all firmly seated.
Coatings all in good order, firm with no losses.
Central Pivot moves firmly and smoothly with no slack or play, no cracks or other issues.
