For sale, one Zeiss/BLC 5×14 Kriegsmarine/Uboat deck gunnery sight. Technical number: AZSCHR.E.C/6, Number: NR1425R.
These sights were used on surface ships of the German navy and uboat deck guns. It gives a power of 5x with a large 14 field of view. It has a clear filter, a light grey filter, a yellow filter and a very dark filter for looking towards the sun.
The filters all click into position properly and work as they should. The reticule is not present, it just gives a clear picture and image. The optics have no chips or cracks to the prisms. The lenses have the T designation on the body so have the enhanced transparent coatings. It gives a good clear wide angle image.
The eye piece itself does have a couple crazing marks that doesnt really affect the image but being truthful would rather say they are present.
All in all a nice piece of Kriegsmarine/Uboat memrobilia and a collectable which I have not seen many of over the years.
