A beautiful looked after set of early WWII dienstglas from voigtlander.
This is one of the first Voigtlander binoculars at the start of WWII, After 1940 the Voigtlander binoculars were marked with code ddx.
Cosmetically fantastic for their age and conflict, body is fully intact superb, eyecups are good.
Mechanically mint, focussers nice and smooth, and bars firm and correct.
Optically excellent, maybe a slight haze on edge of one prism,  but does not interfere with the clean collimated view. All lenses scratch and separation free.
The reticule is clear,  maybe the odd dust speck on the reticule lens.
Left and right from the center you see the stamps of “Waffenabnahmeamt” = weapons inspection office, frequently used on German weapons but seldom on military optics. At right tube you have a reticle (H/6400).
A superb minty piece, not many in this unabused fully working condition with the WaA stamps.
Comes with original strap and rainshield.
A fine collectors item.
