This is the original Japanese version with all metal lens cell, much copied and in my opinion never matched.
The optical quality is outstanding, the star test is perfect and it out matches larger and more expensive instruments.
As in investment or an introduction to astronomy this is the perfect scope, its how I started off, and never ceases to give pleasure.
The original eyepieces are included and are themselves of high quality, they are .965″ fitting, but the scope can take 1.25″ eyepieces with the included adapter.
The scope shows light signs of use, there is a 1″ chip to the paintwork as shown, the lens cap has been repaired, but everything else is good.
The finder is 6×30 and in great condition
The mount could do with a re-grease but works smoothly and the tripod is in near perfect condition, no splits in the hardwood legs.
The optics are in excellent order, no scratches or chips.
All in all a classic instrument that will bring may years of pleasure.
I have too many scopes so this has got to go.
