This is an interesting pair of WWII Kershaw Military Binoculars. I could be said that they have seen active service judging by their condition and patination!!
So, the Binoculars are Kershaw Bino Prism, No2, MkII, X6 Magnification Binoculars which come in a leather case. The case is however marked as being for a pair of MkI Binoculars. The case is futher stamped with the name Timbers 1937.
The top shoulder plates vare stamped with the specification as follows:-Kershaw Bino Prism, No 2 MkII, No 162402. Graticues 1/2 degree Apart, and 1/4 Degree, 1/2 Degree and HIGH.
The bottom plate on each barrel is marked with the MOD Arrow or Crows Foot.
The optics are not bad and the image is good but there are some dust specks within the elements but no signs of fungus.
Each eye piece is focussed seaparately. The ebonite eye pieces are intact.
