This is a good pair of Voigtlander, Dienstglas, 6×30 Magnification Binoculars with Leather Button Fob, Strap and Bakelite Lens Cover.These are not marked Voigtlander but carry the World War Two code letters, ‘ddx’, which represent Voigtlander of Germany. Serial Number 152123The binoculars have a very nice patina from years of use. They have a leather neck strap to is attached the bakelite lens cover which is attached to the main strap by two retaining straps which allow the cover to slide up and down.Each barrel of the Binoculars are focussed individually. The eye cups are bakelite.The optics are generally good. They present an acceptable image. The right hand barrel has a graticule gauge within. It has 4 and sub divisions to left and right of the centre. The mid point on each side being marked 20.There is some clouding near the perimeter of one of the elements.
