Vintage USSR Russian TYPNCT-3 Spotting Scope/Telescope 3 Draw Extend 20 x 50 & Case. Condition is Used. The 20 x 50 is an old-fashioned 3-draw telescope that you have to extend before use. It also has a tripod thread on the bottom too – which is the standard size. It’s made mostly of metal with just the eyepiece which you rotate to focus being plastic. Focussing is smooth and precise.Fantastically sharp and bright – it’s up there with some of the more expensive binoculars I’ve seen. Colour rendition from the purplish-coated lenses is good though there is a slight yellow cast which is common with a lot of Russian optics but nothing distracting.Condition: Optics bright & clean (minimal signs of dust which must be expected from all used lenses). Focus smooth, cosmetically clean looking. Lovely working condition. Some small scratches to the black coating please see photo 11 for details. Also the eye relief has some age related wear to it, please see photo 7. Comes with original box.Please note, no photos of the lens have been edited or filtered in any way.
