On sale here we have a pair of vintage Ross branded binoculars. The binoculars are field glass, 7×40 m/m, binoculars. They have coated lenses and come within their original box but have no pouch or case. They feature a neck strap and covers for both the lenses and the eyepieces.
CONDITION
The binoculars do appear to be older now and do show some signs of wear now. The lenses are good but show some scratches and may require further cleaning. The lens parts do come away from the body of the binoculars (as seen in the photographs). We are unsure they are supposed to come away and wonder if they have become unglued and require attention to keep them more permanently attached. There are various scratches to the bodywork of the binoculars but nothing too severe. The items original box does show various and multiple signs of wear to it. This includes signs of sellotape where corners have split or torn. There are also scuffs, scratches and marks present.
