Though it looks contemporary this is a 1960′ / 70’s Philo telescope. I am not sure of the date of manufacture but it has come form a shop clearance of a Birmingham Opticians that had other dated bits (see other listings) in their archived stores. It is in its original box with an original tripod and is spotless – still with plastic original packaging.
The tripod is robust with the usual screw in mount and allows you to take maximum advantage of the 40x magnification and superb lenses. There are no issues with this telescope and whoever adds it to their collection or takes it to the field will be delighted I am sure.
In its box it is 60cm long10cm wide and 6cm deep – it weighs 580g so is perfectly postable – parcel2go 4.50 to the UK mainland
