THIS IS A VERY INTERESTING PIECE OF WW11 MILITARY EQUIPMENT – A PAIR OF BROWN LEATHER COVERED, ”BARR & STROUD” BINOCULARS, SUITABLE FOR DISPLAY, OR POSSIBLE RESTORATION. THE BINOCULARS BEAR THE WARTIME ‘ARROW’ MARK, THE EMBOSSING IS UNCLEAR – ‘BARR & STROUD, GLASGOW & SCOTLAND, SERIAL NUMBER 47709? ZF41? 7A?. THEY ARE HEAVY, AND MEASURE APPROXIMATELY 24cm LONG. THE BROWN LEATHER COVERING MAKES THEM VERY UNUSUAL, AND THEY WOULD MAKE A VERY INTERESTING ADDITION TO ANY MILITARIA COLLECTION.
