A vintage pair of Lichter Koc 8×30 Binoculars
Made in Germany
I’ve had a look on the internet and these look to me like
some are saying they are made in Occupied Japan?
So are they WWII Japanese Issue?
I’m no expert so please research this yourself – its just my opinion on them
Take a look at the manufacturers markings
Cosmetically quite a lot of wear to the binoculars casing,
and all seems to work fine, adjustments are smooth,
Unusually they have individual focusing on both eyepieces
The right hand eye piece has scale markers etched into the optics,
for distance / size reference of what you are viewing
This I think is commonplace in military binoculars
You can see through them reasonably well,
however the optics are a little foggy with light fungus by the looks,
maybe a service could correct this? I don’t know
So sold for spares / repair or for the military display side of thingsI’ve tried to show all sides & angles in the photos
