This is a lovely pair of Leitz Wetzlar of Germany, Trinovid, 7x42B Binoculars with Leitz Leather Case.These Binoculars work extremely well. They focus smoothly and once set up to the individual users eyes all you need do is adjust the focus on what you are looking at.The optics are clear. I cannot say that under close inspection you will not find a speck of dust – But to my eyes they are cracking.The exterior of the body has some rub marks from use rather than abuse.The case is beautifully formed and is made of grained leather. It carries the Leitz, Impressed Trade Logo. The front flap of the case carries the Gold Leaf embossed initials of te previous owner. J. G.Please note the condition of the eye cups. The pictures do a better job of defining this than I can with words. They will need replacing.
