A CLASSIC PAIR OF KERSHAW MONARCH TWELVE EXTRA WIDE ANGLE BINOCULARS WITH COATED OPTICS MADE IN ENGLAND No. 68515
MY FATHER USED THESE FOR MANY YEARS HE WAS A AVID HORSE RACING FAN, BUT FROM THE INITIALS ON THE CASE THEY ORIGINALLY BELONGED TO MY MATERNAL GRANDFATHER, WHO WAS ALSO INTO HIS HORSE RACING. WHICH WOULD DATE THEM AROUND THE 1940’s. THEY COME IN THEIR ORIGINAL HARD LEATHER CASE, WHICH IS IN GOOD CONDITION FOR ITS AGE. THE BINOCULARS THEMSELVES ARE SHOWING SIGNS OF USAGE AND AGE. THERE IS A FAIR BIT OF PAINT LOSS AND A DENT OR TWO PROBABLY WHERE THEY BANGED ON THE RAILS WHEN HE HAD A WINNER. THERE IS ALSO SOME DUST INTERNALLY, I GUESS THEY COULD BE SERVICED AND CLEANED IF YOU KNEW WHAT YOU WERE DOING, WHICH I DON’T. I SHALL ENDEAVOUR TO SHOW THE FAULTS IN THE PHOTOS. IN VIEW OF THEIR CONDITION I FEEL I AM ASKING A REASONABLE PRICE.
