For sale is an antique military binoculars, which I believe date back to circa 1917.They have a lovely old patina to them and so too has the original brown, leather case.Binoculars neck strap still intact and not broken and so too is the case strap and clasp.Eye focussing still works on both eye pieces.Optics appear to have some hazing in the rear elements as well as some trapped dirt particles inside, but given their age this is to be expected. The glass is not cracked or broken, which is the main point to make.Somebody has put a name tag on the base of the binoculars ‘Bowen’, which you can see in the photo. This can probably be removed but I have kept it on there as I don’t want to damage the base in attempting to remove it!Serial Number: 560490.If you are bidding from overseas then please contact me prior to placing a bid to confirm postage costs.
