This small Galilean fieldglas was developed by Wollensak, the engineer of Bausch & Lomb in 1920. It’s made from brass and painted black. The sliding lever makes it possible to focus this binocular. These are very early binoculars made by Wallansak from Rochester NY. They are in a very good condition considering they are nearly100 years old.  The focal mechanism is a lever and not a thumb screw, they are made of brass and painted black, the brass is just visible where there are signs of wear, I have shown this in the photographs.
