Im not an expert an have never seen anything great through a telescope so would be hard pushed to say its tested. I had this out on a night with very few stars in the sky so my aim was possibly off. As you can see i did manage to project the sun after a while.I couldnt say how old this telescope is as it was found ib my grandads loft. Very cool piece of history though.Comes with a few different lenses and an excellent adjustable wooden tripod.
