A beautiful antique telescope. It has a brass plaque on the leather exterior which reads –
The Lord Bury Telescope – Sole manufacturer JH Steward
406 & 66 Strand & 54 Cornhill
No. 1005 London
This is also engraved on the second tube when you extend it.
It extends to 85cm
I found it in my fathers effects and I don’t know where he got it or if it is functioning.
