Vintage 1985-1986 Tasco Halley’s Comet Series Binoculars
These unique and difficult to find binoculars are in reasonable condition for their age. They were a part of a specially release series in 1985-1986 to coincide with the arrival of Halley’s Comet. They are wide angle binoculars, with an 8 field of vision, large BaK4 Prisms and a lightweight all-metal construction. These are very popular with collectors and star gazers.

The left hand lens is missing some of the grip material (see photographs)
There is some dirt/dust/fungus in the lenses
The focus ring has a very short amount of travel but believe that this is how they are meant to operate.
