It’s a Russian TAL ALCOR 65 mm reflector telescope made by (NPZ) in 1998 so used. The build quality is exceptional for this size of a telescope. This Russian gem is in excellent optical and general condition. Both mirrors are clean as new. No stains, mould, scratches etc. Perfect.
The mechanics are superb. The mount is smooth, sturdy and without play. Though there is a few tiny nicks on the tube and the front cover has got a crack, however, sitting tight and doing its job properly :-) (you can see in the pictures) The Alt/Az locks are adjustable for just the right amount of tension. The slow motions is in great condition. The focuser is unbelievably smooth, like butter :-). One of the best. The kit contains a high quality 15mm eyepiece giving 33x, a barlow to 88x, and an extension to make 133x.
The case made from a solid baltic birchwood and in a good condition.
This is really very well made little telescope for grab and go, nicely designed with the great optics and very easy to use.
