For sale, one TAL-1 russian newtonian reflector telescope. Condition is Used.
TAL optics are highly regarded and this auction is for the TAL-1 telescope, supplied complete with:
-the original standard TAL 30mm diameter x6 finderscope (superb quality)
-the original TAL equatorial mount.
-a 25mm TAL eyepiece
The 110mm diameter mirror is in good condition and has been recently very carefully cleaned and collimated. (Sharp eyed observers may note that that the picture of the moon was taken before the mirror was cleaned and and collimation.)
The telescope tube has a few areas of flaking paint but this does not affect the operation at all.
The equatorial mount is in good condition and is fully functioning.
This will make an excellent telescope either for those just starting out or for those looking for a great quality ‘grab and go’ newtonian.
