TheSWIFT AUDUBON 8.5 x 44 PORROPRISM binocular is a CLASSIC instrument.If you already know about them please skip this paragraph! Primarilyaimed at birdwatchers, they soon became accepted as the bestperforming Japanese binocular, with optical ability right up therewith the likes of zeiss and leica. The Audubon 8.5 x 44 has gonethrough many minor changes over the years, but has always kept to itstrademark extra wide field of view, very tough body, and optics whichdeliver amazingly large bright pin-sharp images. Despite SWIFTlabelling some versionsfeatherweight,audubons are no lightweights, they are a good kilo around your neck!Thislisting is for anexcellent almost unmarkedexample of the sought after `GOLD STRIPE` AUDUBON veryclose to`mint condition`? This example dates from 1981and performs brilliantly, this morning I`ve tested it watching theblackbirdsfeedingtheir offspring in my garden andit has delivered some great images.
