Here is a pair of Swarovski Marine 7×50 binoculars. These are vintage and were issued to the French Military. The right hand tube is clear, and usable, with visible reticle.The left hand tube has a visible black line which I have been told is part of the surround on the prism which has come away. The detailed photographs form part of the description so look carefully. There is a Swarovski 10×50 binocular case, which is part of this listing, which I will NOT sell seperately. Obviously these binoculars fit very well in the case. The case alone is worth 80. These binoculars are ‘usable’ as is, but if someone knows what they are doing, and have the time and expertise to sort out the left hand tube prism they can be a ‘pair of binoculars’ once more! At the moment you can look through both tubes, but you see one clear circular image, which sounds like all binoculars, but nonetheless is utilising just the one decent tube. Phew, hope that makes sense! I can not guarantee they are waterproof, although they are Marine binoculars, but they are certainly well built for sure! I have always wanted a pair of Swarovski binoculars as they are amongst the best in the World. I am disappointed that this pair have a problem which I do not have the skills to repair. They are unique, being Military issue, and are quite rare.
