This 8×30 is no longer offered with rubber-armour, so this is a rare opportunity to buy a recent one (see serial number) rather than an old example which is usually the worse for wear. Superb condition – just overhauled by the factory (replacing one objective, both eyepiece & objective rubbers), so it now performs as new. Small paint loss on the discs at each end of the bending bar – please see photos. The specks on the lens photographs are dust & not damage. The strap is showing much wear, in contrast to the binocular itself – I will include it, but it would be wise to replace it.
Please see the photos for the external condition of the paint etc.. There are no scratches on the lenses & everything works as it should. This is certainly one of the best, if not the best, & most robust 8×30 ever produced, with a light transmission of 90-96% for all wavelengths from 450-650 units. I am not aware of any other binocular, including the Swarovisions, which achieves this. Consequently, viewing is beautifully bright at any time of day.[Please note that I will post to UK only].
