U.S. Navy Binoculars along with the correct original case. High powered 7X50 and used for special missions in World War 2. The case is solid and measures appx. 9 1/4″ x 9 1/4″ x 4 1/2″.Marked on the inside label on case lid is 7×50 and special instructions for proper use and care. The binoculars themselves measure appx. 8 1/2″ long including rubber headrest / eye shield. Some of the markings on these wonderful binoculars include: U.S.Navy Bu.Aero Bausch & Lomb No. 61-21-39 Stock No. R88-B-309 Contr. Noa(S) 2614 / Bausch & Lomb Opt. Co. Rochester New York , USA / 7×50 Wide Field. Everything about these special binoculars is in working order and just a wonderful find. Very heavily made and work just great. Rubber eye shield / Headrest is solid with minor wear. History has it that there were very few of these made and here is a chance to own one . Only fault that I could find is it is missing one of the eye rubber grommets as pictured which is probably an easy fix for a optical person. Super addition for any military collection.
