You are looking at a used set of foldable rubber eyecups complete with their pillars and focusing sleeves. They are off my Steiner 7×50 Military and Marine rubber-armoured binoculars which went back to the factory for a complete overhaul. The pillars are the parts that fit onto the top of the prism housing and they carry the index line for the diopter adjustment – the focusing sleeves carry and focus the ocular lenses and have the diopters marked on them, and the foldable rubber eyecups are at the top. The eyecups are complete with their threaded rings so you get eight parts in all. The parts are all used but not abused, and they show light scratches. The eyecups are supple and fold down (and stay down) fine. They are not cracked or weathered. If you have ever bought a new Steiner eyecup you will remember their eye-watering price.The model that these came off is the Steiner 7×50 Military and Marine rubber-armoured with individual focusing – mine is ex-Bundeswehr and has their typical Feldgrau grey-green armouring, and that is also the colour of these parts. To avoid any doubt about the model we are talking about I have included a picture of the label on the binoculars as well as a picture of the whole binocular. THE BINOCULARS ARE NOT INCLUDED – YOU ARE BIDDING ONLY ON THE SPARE PARTS SHOWN.My stuff comes from a house inhabited by a hard-drinking, cigar-smoking dog owner so please ensure that all your allergies are fully compatible.
