After extensive searches I bought this as a first intro into nightvision and never regretted it.SUPERB VALUE FOR THE MONEY.Sorry no paperwork or box but I am sure instructions can be downloaded.I will leave the micro sim card in the machine,but you will require 4 double A batteries (BEST TO USE RECHARGEABLE ONES).Check spec and price new on Amazon plus reviews!!!!

Push slider switch (on RH Side of machine) forward for a couple of seconds and let it slide back and you are up and running.
