Small (unpolished) brass three-drawtelescope with 21mm objective lens.The objective and thefour-lens erecting image system are in perfect optical condition.As a telescope it worksvery well but, because of the following defects, it is sold here for spares orfor restoration. There is one very slightding on the main section – one slight ding on section two – and a couple on thefirst section. These do not interfere withthe action of the draw.The main section was oncecovered in leather, but this has long since disintegrated.The tiny eyepieceprotection shutter is missing.There is no makers mark.In the closed position itis 135mm long. Fully extended it is370mm longI do not know the exact ageof the telescope other than it has been in my personal possession for over 50years.From a non-smoking,pet-free household.
