A German Equatorial Mount, his is a Sky Watcher Tripod and EQ2 mount with an Right Ascension motor drive.
The tripod is 1m high with legs retracted and 1.4m with legs extended. The mount is easily removed from the tripod for transportation.
The EQ2 mount has an RA motor with a control box and a battery pack. Takes 4 “D” cells, not included.
It could also be powered from a suitable 6v power supply.
Polar aligned this mount will track a celestial object in the sky.
The RA motor drive can be easily disconnected and the telescope moved using the manual adjusters.
The mount has turning circles for both the RA and the Declination axis.
The EQ2 takes a 4Kg load. No Telescope or rings included.
