For sale is my Skywatcher EQ5 go-to mount with extras. Comes with original heavy duty tripod and leg plate. The GOTO works and has been used for about 10 hours only, the SynScan controler screen still has the protective sticker on! All cables, connectors, and the control box are in great condition. Polar scope is very clean and clear with dust cap still present. All adjustment crews are present, rotation clutches work great. 2 x 5kg weights. Paintwork very clean. Also comes with very high quality RS232 to usb connector for connecting it to a PC for control and firmware upgrade. There is a power supply for use with 240 v that I made from an xbox controller ( I will tidy it up before Isend it).This is a really good condition stable scope that worked really well for astrophotography. The tracking is spot on once properly alligned.
The tube pictured in the listing is not included at this price. But I am looking to sell that to for around £240, I’m happy to make a deal if you take the lot! ( The tube is a Skywatcher Quattro 200p f4 – specially for astrophotography – optics were just cleaned)Reason for selling is tht I want to downgrade to a Dobsonian so that it is easier to just pick up and go.
