A nice pair of very good quality, vintage (1979), Russian BNU4, 8 x 30 fully coated optics binoculars in good working order. Alignment is fine, there is a very clear/sharp view through the coated (multi-coated?) lenses, all controls work smoothly. Has a few very small paint chips but generally in a good cosmetic condition. Made in USSR, serial number 79134981, comes with original leather neck strap, rain cover (see photo number eight) and black leather hard case with strap. Classic, well made, quite compact binoculars, ideal for general use, bird watching, etc.
