These are RSPB binoculars – made by Viking – 8 x 23 with 6.4deg field angle. these are compact type and are only 10 cms long and 10cms wide. They come in a brown padded case (made in China) with velcro closing.
These have seen spasmodic use for a number of years but are still in excellent working order. The outer casing can be cleaned up to make them look even better. The neck strap was shortened a little some years ago but is still 83 cms long.
They would make a good starter binocular for somebody or a spare for the car glove box or even for the kitchen windowsill.
