These are vintage REGENT binoculars 10×50 with coated optics. All lenses are clean and tidy and viewing / magnification is excellent.
These were “Empire Made” (identified as made in Hong Kong) but these are “Japanese” post war classic porro prism binoculars and the strict quality controls in place to ensure continuity of optical and build standards at the time resulted in well built and optically very good binoculars.
These are in used but clean condition with some marks and a minor bit of damage to one eyepiece surround (which is pictured) but does not affect the use or optical performance of them (see photos as part of the description). All lenses are clean (despite the dust in the pictures!) and there is no detritus or impediments to the images generated – though there is one of the larger lens caps missing, the smaller ones are there so when cased they are protected.
They come in a fine quality leather case with shoulder strap which would not have been the original but is a nice looking addition with long buckled shoulder strap and front zipped pocket. There has been an owners details written into the flap – but obscured at some stage.
