This
is an inexpensive telescope yet a very good one. It’s a nice first
telescope.
It
has a focal length of 1000 mm and an aperture of 114 mm (f/8.8). It
has an eyepiece holder of 1.25”.
I
include a T-adapter, that attaches to a T2 ring (also included),
which allows you to take pictures with a DSLR in manual mode (for
canon or nikon). The chimney photos were taken with a canon ef on a cropped sensor camera, at 75 and 300 mm (eq. 120 and 480 mm), and the third photo with the telescope.
If you don’t own a DSLR, with the appropriate set you can make astonishing images of the Moon and other planets (the
image of the Moon was made with the telescope and a web cam).
