RARE WORLD WAR I ROYAL ARTILLERY BINOCULARSWHICH HAVE THE BENEFIT OF HAVING THEIR ORIGINAL LEATHER CASE.THE CASE HAS THE MILITARY CROWS FOOT AND THE DATE OF 1907 INSCRIBED INTO THE LEATHERTHE BINOCULARS AND CASE WERE OWNED BY A SERGEANT BUCKNELL WHO WAS SADLY KILLED IN THE BATTLE OF THE SOMMETHE BINOCULARS AS EXPECTED FOR THEIR USE AND AGE ARE SHOWING SOME SIGNS OF WEAR. HOWEVER THE LENSES ARE UNDAMAGED AND CLEANTHE MAGNIFICATION IS EXCELLENTTHE BROWN LEATHER CASE IS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION FOR ITS AGE WITH ONLY MINOR SURFACE WEAR.THE STRAP IS IN GOOD UNDAMAGED CONDITION. THE INTERIOR OF THE CASE IS OF RED BAIZE FELTED MATERIAL AND IS STAMPED ‘ROSS LTD 11 NEW BOND STREET AND 31 COCKSPUR ST LONDON’ ON THE INSIDE OF THE LIDNICE PIECE OF NOSTALGIA
