The QHY5-II improves on the original QHY5 for guiding and planetary imaging applications. Unlike the older camera the QHY5-II has reduced banding and improved high FPS performance: up to 170fps @ 400 x 400 with a quantum efficiency (QE) of 56%. Low weight and compact size makes the new QHY5-II the ideal guide camera with useful planetary imaging capability. Camera is 1.25″ EP diameter and now has a native C mount as standard.
Supplied in a handy storage box with USB & ST4 Cables, 1.25″ Extension (threaded for filters), 1.25″ Parfocalising Ring, Windows (XP and onwards) drivers and capture software. The camera is also supported by PHD, MetaGuide, Firecapture, SharpCap and software using the ASCOM platform.
