This is an Onstep computerised controller.
It  is built to control telesope mounts. This is very much a DIY project. There is a great group and all information can be found here.
https://onstep.groups.io/g/main/wiki/3860
The Onstep can be easily programmed to suit differing drive ratios. To program this you will need the Arduino IDE which is a free download. All source code can be found on the Onstep wiki.
To use the unit is powered and creates a wifi hub. You connect to this with a Free app which can be downloaded to yoour phone.
Once connected it is easy to pick a target and goto it.Tracking allows much easier viewing than constant adjustment.
It can be easily adapted to many types of telescope mounts. AltAz EQ Dobsonian. It will need to be re programmed to suit your gear setups but this is not difficult and all explained online.
The info is in the wiki. With small mods it can also control focusers and dew heaters. Read the wiki for more detailsEspecially the STM32 Blue pill section.
This uses the “Blue PIll STM32” and has wifi. A Handset can also be attached with a couple of small modifications. Usb connector to program, Real time clock. Also included are 2 x Nema17 200 step 1.8 motors. My setup was mainly 3d printed and worked well.
The Onstep is powered by a 12v supply. I used an old ATX Psu. Looking at the pictures there is a power plug. 12v to the yellow and 0v to the black is all it requires.
This is a very niche item and is of no use to me as I have moved onto other hobbies.
If you purchase this and are local I would welcome collection and the opportunitye to display it in operation.Any questions please send a message.
