An interesting old pair of Binoculars believed to date fromthe WWII era?I amlisting a number of items this week on behalf of my parents, who have acquireda fine collection of antiques and curios, often purchasing items from high endgalleries and London auction houses including Bonhams and Christies.These formed part of the belongings of British military officer by the name of James Turner, whose belongings were purchased by my parents several years ago.These are made by Ross of London and prestigious high quality Binocular maker. They are marked ‘Power 9 Field 8 Stepruva’They focus well and lenses are in good order although could do with a good clean. The have their own custom made pig-skin or leather case. The stitching of the case lid has come detached from one part of the leather but this could easily be stitched back on.
