A pair of old (1913?), 8 x (8 x 25) binoculars. The lenses have some age related dirt inside but are still quite clear (a professional internal clean would be of benefit) and the alignment is fine, the controls work smoothly. Cosmetically they have a lot of paint wear and chipping, other signs of use but no damage, in original condition, not cleaned or painted, the leatherette covering is in good condition. The binoculars are well made and quite heavy for their size. On the rear left prism housing is the wording ‘Novelle Maison, Julies Huet & Cie, Fondee En 1913’ and on the right rear housing is ‘Constructeurs, Tourist 8, Paris.’, please note the Manufactures embossing is quite faint but can be read okay under good light. SORRY NO CASE.
